As part of your matrimonial project, we collect:

• identity and profile data: first name/nickname, age, gender, family situation, origin, description;
• declared religious data, necessary for the matrimonial purpose of the service;
• account data: email address, login credentials;
• content of exchanges (messages) subject to moderation;
• payment and subscription data, processed by our payment provider;
• technical data: connection logs, security data.

Zawajuna collects no photos or images of its members. This approach reinforces the privacy and modesty at the heart of our philosophy.

Your data is used only to:

• create and manage your account and profile (performance of the contract);
• connect you for the purpose of marriage (performance of the contract);
• moderate exchanges and ensure the security of the platform (legitimate interest);
• manage your subscription and payments (performance of the contract);
• comply with our legal obligations.

As religious data is sensitive data, it is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give upon registration and can withdraw at any time by deleting your account.

We never sell your data. We use technical service providers acting on our behalf:

• Hosting & database — to store and serve the application's data;
• Payment provider — to securely process subscriptions;
• Email delivery service — for notifications related to your account.

Certain information may be communicated to the competent authorities in the event of a legal obligation or force majeure.

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile data is erased or anonymized, subject to the retention periods required by law (in particular for billing data).

In accordance with applicable regulations (including the GDPR for EU residents), you have the following rights:

• right of access, rectification and updating of your data;
• right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): you can delete your account at any time from the application;
• right to restriction of and objection to processing;
• right to data portability;
• right to withdraw your consent at any time.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against any unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel (moderation and administration team).
