Terms of Use

Zawajuna is a matchmaking platform exclusively dedicated to religious marriage (nikah) according to the Quran and Sunnah. It is not a casual dating service. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms; Zawajuna reserves the right to exclude anyone who does not.

To register, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid payment method. The platform is strictly reserved for adults.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel access to anyone who does not comply with our terms of use.

Important: Persons who are not in a lawful, regular situation in their country of residence are not permitted to register. Zawajuna reserves the right to suspend or delete the account of any such person.

Through our application, Zawajuna acts as an intermediary between suitors. No recommendation or verification is carried out by Zawajuna: this is the responsibility of the suitor and the woman's guardian (wali).

Zawajuna disclaims any responsibility for events occurring before or after marriage.

We strive to select profiles in accordance with Islamic principles (according to the Quran and Sunnah). However, it is up to each user to verify the accuracy of the information and to investigate personally.

Exchanges between suitors are moderated to remain focused on the marriage project. This moderation is human and therefore subject to error. If you notice an anomaly, please contact support.

Zawajuna cannot be held responsible for any moderation errors.

Moderation is available during hours that will be communicated to you. These hours may vary depending on the size of the team and time zones. Delays may also fluctuate during prayer times.

Access to premium features requires a monthly subscription: EUR 3.90/month for sisters and EUR 9.90/month for brothers (prices subject to change, the applicable price being the one displayed at the time of subscription).

Automatic renewal: the subscription is monthly and renews automatically by payment each month, until cancelled by the user. The amount and date of the next payment are shown in your "Subscription" area.

To help you stay focused on your marriage project, a quota of 20 messages sent per day is applied. This quota may be reassessed if necessary. Only serious messages related to the marriage objective are validated.

Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your "Subscription" area. Cancellation ends automatic renewal; you keep access to paid features until the end of the period already paid for. When unsubscribing, you choose what happens to your profile: keep it visible for free, deactivate it, or delete it.

Refund: amounts already paid for the current period are non-refundable. Full details are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Payment: payments are securely processed by our payment provider. A label referring to our payment partner may appear on your bank statement; it corresponds to your Zawajuna subscription.

The platform is accessible every day except Monday. It may also be closed during religious holidays or for technical reasons. Users will be informed in advance.

Our service relies on third-party tools. In the event of a bug or malfunction from these tools, Zawajuna disclaims any liability for direct or indirect damages.

We do our utmost to resolve any incident quickly and minimize interruptions.

No refund may be claimed in the event of temporary unavailability of the platform.

Users agree to communicate with respect and to avoid any ambiguous or inappropriate language. The use of emoticons is prohibited.

They also agree to respect the work of moderators and to contact support in case of any issue.

Reporting and blocking: every user can, at any time, block another member and report any inappropriate, fraudulent or non-compliant behavior by contacting support at contact@zawajuna.com. Every report is reviewed and may lead to the exclusion of the member concerned.

Zawajuna reserves the right to exclude any user who does not comply with their commitments.

We dissociate ourselves from sectarian groups claiming to represent Islam such as the Kharijites, Sufis, Ikhwan, etc. Any person identifying with these groups will be excluded.

We respect your privacy. Your data is only used within the framework of your matrimonial project on zawajuna.com. In case of force majeure or legal obligation, certain information may be communicated to the competent authorities.

Details of the data collected, its purpose, retention period and your rights (including the right to erasure) are set out in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming (United States), the state of incorporation of the operating company. This clause does not deprive consumers residing in the European Union of the mandatory protective provisions of the law of their country of residence.
